Hunni i have a little problem i was at the bank where am suppose to pick my payment with cheque that was given to me, but when i got to the bank i was told i have to provide an account for the money to be paid in, well i gave the bank my account details in the states, but after some time they told me the transfer can not be made to my account and that my account is dormant, and now i am confuse and dont know what to do because they gave me 24hours to provide a active account that the payment will be transfer too, i am really confuse and dont know what to do right now.

NIGERIAN SCAMMER EDWARD PEDERSEN GETS DESPERATE

After Edward Pedersen asked us for the money we of course stopped all correspondence with him immediately which then resulted in an onslaught of emails - 5 to be exact within a 2 hour period where he BEGGED for the $$$. We received 5 similar emails to the one below professing his undying love and asking for the money promising all the while how rich 'we' will be.

After reading so much of the crapola over and over again we see a trend here. They always use text like verbage U instead of you, they can't spell worth a crap, they always call you HONEY and SWEETIE (gag me), profess undying love... and they fall in love very fast - like within 3 emails. And refer to themselves as "Your husband" or "Your wife".

Here is the letter where he asks for $$$$. We have to admit his story is very 'creative'. He apparently went to sleep with a candle lit, but it set the rug on fire and his hotel room was on fire until 4 am when he woke up to 'pee'. And he wrote us this email still wearing his 'pinjamas' since he lost all his clothes in the fire.

We set up an account on an internet site and were contacted by scammers almost immediately. Here is one of the scammers who has contacted us and within 4 days - he asked for money!

Over the past four days he has sent various letters professing his love. Most of them with poor spelling and bad grammar. Then he starts copying and pasting stupid love letters from God knows where...He is of course traveling for work, in AFRICA - what a surprise but will be back in the US soon. Within 4 days - JUST 4 DAYS - he asked for money in this email:

Once you Respond to a Scammer They Email You Forever!!!!

Several weeks ago, I decided to respond to one of the stupid scammer emails just to screw with them, get them all hopeful and then WHAM-O... let them know they were duped. After sending that one email to them, I get at least one thing from them on a daily basis. So far:

1. I have won the lottery
   
   
2. Designated as the beneficiary of a doctor who died in a plane crash in 2003
   
   
3. Asked to help some US soldiers removed stolen money from Iraq
   
   
4. Asked by a dying man in Portugal to be his bride so I can help get the money away from his evil family (he even sent me photos of his coloscopy - so I got to see this inside the asshole of this asshole - I am sure they were stolen photos by the way)
   
   
5. Contacted by an attorney to help transfer $8.5 billion of an Egyptian official who died in the EGYPTIAN AIRLINE 990 crash
   
   
6. Contacted by the FBI
   
   
7. Contacted by some women who told me to stop talking to 'her man who she was giving all her money to'
   
   
8. Contacted by a businessman in Hong Kong for a business deal where they want to give me USD 19,500,000; Contacted by Nimaat Mohammed 27 years old from Zimbabwe whose mother was recently murdered in the countries elections who has $12,500,000 in diamonds and gold
   
   
9. Informed that I won the EURO MILLONES LOTTERY INTERNATIONAL PROMOTIONS PROGRAM
   
   
10. MRS. YOSHIKO ISHII in Japan wants me to go into business with her

Mrs. Susan Derrick of New Braunfels, Texas to stop contacting those people because they were trying to steal from me to but contact Mr Scott Daniel instead, "who only charged $500 for the paper works to transfer your Fund into your account, instead of dealing with those liars that will be turning you around asking for different kind of money to complete your transaction"

Only one of these was a 'dating' experience, the one where I got to see the photos of my 'true loves' rectum, but once they got my email address my in-box was flooded with emails coming in from Portugal, China, Japan, Uruguay, Columbia, Nicaragua, Spain and Texas; the funny thing though is that the IP addresses although they tried to mask it, were all coming from guess where? NIGERIA or The Ivory Coast. The point being, they are relentless in their quest to get some money, any money from the uninformed.

One smart lady who didn't get scammed

Sometimes you can outscam the scammers, if you know what to look for, like this sharp lady did. Good thing she was so on her toes!

This past July 12th, I received the most beautiful e-mail on the dating site SeniorPeopleMeet from a man calling himself Thomas Park. He said that I was an angel on earth and if I didn't reply to his "humble" e-mail that he would understand. Why should I respond to someone such as he. . . His picture was gorgeous--dark hair with piercing blue eyes and an oh so sexy smile. He asked me to e-mail him at Thomas Park212@yahoo.com.

We e-mailed back and forth for about four or five days. His language was over the top romantic baloney. I was a little bit suspicious but a couple of my friends who had dated Latin men (he claims to have been raised by an aunt in Madrid) said this is the way they express themselves.

This is his story--in case any of you out there fall prey to this man:
Thomas Park was born in Texas and at the age of four his parents died in a fatal car crash. He was raised with his cousins by an aunt and uncle in Madrid. He holds a master's degree in business technology from Oxford.
He moved to the United States twenty-two years ago because his wife was American. She died in childbirth eight years ago, along with the child.

Thomas said he worked for the Huron Consulting Group in Chicago IL as an information technology consultant. He says has no friends--just co-workers. They operate in different worlds (yeah right!) So he spends holidays in Paris or Hawaii or he travels to Madrid quite frequently to visit his aunt.
His best friend is God and he said our relationship would progress in God's timing. He has no trouble finding women but he wants a woman of quality and said that I was his choice.

I finally asked him to phone me as I the number he gave me always went to voice mail. He did call but we spoke only briefly as the phone was constantly "breaking up." His heavy accent gave him away--he is NO Oxford man!! I could barely understand his broken English. Well, his e-mails intensified after that call (as mine pulled back and cooled down) and I became alarmed so I contacted my local police. They advised me to break it off (nicely) with this guy and I tried to do so. I didn't like hearing "we will be together forever" after one week of e-mailing!!

Well, after he asked me for money, I told him the jig was up and he replied by calling me a player and a liar. I haven't heard from him since. Let's hope it stays that way!
