Typical Nigerian Scammer email

Here is one email after 24 hours of initial contact. These scammers need to move fast, because time is money (your money) so they come on strong QUICK. Here is an actual email from a nigerian scammer

Hello Linda....

Let me start by saying that I thank God every night since I found you. You came into my life when everything seemed so dark but you provided the light to find my way. I've never been so certain of anything in my life like I am of us. You have totally changed my outlook in life and I thank you for that.. I never thought that someone could love me like you do, but guess what? I love you that much too. I feel as if I'm walking over clouds just thinking about you. You make my life complete. I know you've said we could do foolish things while in love, but you know what? With you I wouldn't mind being a fool for the rest of my life. I love you so much and I know you love me too. I know that others looking into our relationship might think that we're saying too many foolish things too soon but they just don't know how we feel about each other. There's nothing foolish about the things I've told you, I meant every word I said. I love you and for you and you are mine. I would do anything, I love you both so much. Today I promise you that I would do anything in my power to make you a great person, outstanding father and loving husband. I LOVE YOU!!....And I mean This is My first time to come online and date and you are the first woman i will meet since my wife has die

Thanks

James

  1. This sounds like a guy I met online who called himself Dr. Bill Dickson. He took about 3 months to get around to asking for money, but he eventually did. According to his story, he said he was in London first, but then he went to Nigeria to help children. It was then that he began claiming inadequate funds to finish the vaccinations, and asking for money. Beware of this guy.

Well this guy is still doing his thing only took him 2 months to try and get money out of me but can't get blood out of a stone and once again he called me his wife but also said his wife and son died 2 years ago in Albany, New Zealand, he also said that he resided in London and was on a rescue mission to yes once again save children and also claimed he ran out of funds for treatment. I called his London number that of course he said was not able to work in Africa and guess what he answered the phone. I'm so glad I keep it real. Watch out for this guy, i don't know what god he is into but it ain't the good kind

  4. Same here. Dr. Bill Dickson, pediatrician, widower, all alone in the world. I have pasted his recent email to me below. He IS good. Thank God that I have a very suspicious mind!

    Hello Rebekah

How are you doing? I hope fine. Its Monday morning here so i guess you would still be asleep over there and I presume you are having a nice sleep in preparation for a new week ahead of you.

I was very happy after we chatted yesterday. I couldn't stop smiling...so I went to the clinic with sweet smiles, came back thinking of you, slept and woke up smiling with sweet thoughts of you in my head. I am sorry I couldn't come back to chat with you, I had to see a few patients in the clinic then when I returened, I had to iron my clothes and get prepared for a new week.

I must confess Rebekah... I am very interested in you. You look gorgeous and I must admit you are such a pretty woman, wow! Thank God I found you but I will have to say that it isn't your looks that is important to me but your inner mind and heart is what i desire now 'cos you seem to be a woman with a loving and caring heart.

I just want you to know that I feel very fortunate to have met you. I have been smiling and glowing since that very minute we started writing each other. I'm glad that I can call you my friend. I have come across a couple of people ever since I became a widower, but one thing remains true...I've never met a single soul who has touched my heart like you. Few people come into our lives and make everything shine, but you're one of those rare and splendid jewels. I will continue to cherish you. When I think of you, l feel a lift in my spirit and this brings much hope and joy to my lonely heart. You're precious to me. You will forever be in my thoughts. I long for you.

Its about 6am here and I am awake gettng ready for start work by 8am. I wish i could find you here to chat with but I know you are sleep. You are in my thoughts always. Knowing you has brought me happiness and i long to be in your presence soon. Though miles may lie between us, we're never far apart, for friendship doesn't count the miles, it's measured by the heart.

Love to many is just a simple word, but to me it's knowing that you will always be there for me, and that to me is everything. Right now Rebekah, you are my love; in my heart and soul, the truest friend I've ever known. You are everything i think of now... my dreams, my fantasy and my reality. I love every thing you are. I don't know if it's your smile, or just the way you are that makes me feel like this ... but whatever it is, every time i read your words, I love you more.

I really did enjoy chatting with you yesterday. I am so happy you value our friendship just like the way i feel. God will protect us and make us find each other soon. Fate has brought us together. I know this is meant to be, because as we communicate, our hearts melt into each other. And i know that when we finally meet, our bodies and souls will melt together. Then every word and every touch will fuel our passion flame. I will be yours, you will be mine, and we will be one forever me.

I wish you the best in all your endeavors today and I hope that lots of sunshine comes your way. Take good care of yourself and know that you are in my thughts always. I hope to connect with you at midday my time. Please send my warm regards to your children.

    With Hugs,

    Bill.

  5. I just got contacted by MrBill_dickson via a dating site. His profile does make you want to reply to him immediately, but something made me stop and google him and I came across your comments. Needless to say I've put a block on him now.
Just a reminder on how important it is to listen to your instincts when it comes to internet dating.
    Be safe out there everyone

  9. Ladies Beware of David Murah....met him on Facebook, claiming in he his a US Soldier currently on a peace keeping mission in afghanistan. "david" is a very big sweet talker he would send me poems stolen from another web site but claimed he wrote them himself also claimed to have fallen in love with me after only talking for ten minutes (1st red flag). He gave a sob story of how his wife cheated on me and left him to care for his 10 year old who is now currently in the care of a family member, he would only talk to me online and never on the phone even after I did give him my phone number (2nd red flag)(and a very stupid mistake on my part) Things ended when I asked him for his mailing address so I could write him a letter, and he told me he couldn't get mail directly so I would have to through another person then he asked me for money for food and a cell phone(3rd and last red flag) I blocked him on google and facebook and also reported him. I feel stupid, foolish and very ashamed of myself for falling victim to a scammer. but I would like to meet the soldier in the photo that "david" stole but I doubt that will ever happen though. so theres my story
