Here again is another Nigerian scammer sending me an email saying that she saw my profile (that I don't have) on a dating site and wants to get to know me.(And of course, scam me) Here is the email:
Hello Dear,
How are you today together with your business and your entire family? I guess that everything is moving smoothly with you. I am more than happy to read your interesting mail and i hope that you are fine and healthy, I have noticed that you are the kind of man i am looking for, I believe that you are a trust worthy and caring person, that's what makes me to disclose my identity to you.

My name is Miss. Joy Johnson, 24 years old from Darfur Region of Sudan but presently I am residing in the refugee camp here in Dakar Senegal as a result of the killing of my family by the rebels on last year please don't be discouraged for hearing this. I believe deep down inside me that you will never break my heart or let me down in anyway. I am from the family of late Engr. Jafar Waleed Johnson. My late father Engr. Jafar Waleed Johnson, was One of the Board of Directors of Sudapet Limited (Sudan National Petroleum Company) Darfur. The brutal killing of my mother and my father, one kid sister and kid brother took place one early morning by the rebels as a result of the civil war that is going on until now in Sudan. I was in my second year in Applied Mathematics department of University of Darfur in Sudan before the death of my loved Parents. I contacted you for a possible help. My step mother is a very wicked woman and she intend to kill me since my father and my biological mother is died. Then she planned to take away all my late father's property and some other valuable things from me since the unexpected death of my beloved Parents. Meanwhile I wanted to find my way out of my country because I have seen what she is planning to do to me. I thereby plan to go to Europe or other part of the World, but she hide my International passport and other valuable travelling documents. Luckly she did not found where I kept my fathers File which contains important documents.

I managed to escape with the documents which covers my late father's deposited money $6.2 Million Dollars (Six Million And Two Hundred Thousand US Dollars). which he used my name as the next of kin. Meanwhile, I am still residing here as a refugee under the UNITED NATIONS COUNCIL FOR REFUGEES, i am saddled with the problem of securing a trust worthy foreign personality to help me transfer the money from the bank pending my arrival in your country cause I will like to see you face to face soon.

Furthermore, on your wish you can contact the bank for confirmation and you can communicate directly with them regarding this fund of my late father which was deposited in their custody. I am giving you this offer as mentioned with every confidence on your acceptance to assist me retrieve the money from the bank and transfer to your nominated account. I have already inform him, that some one will call me through his phone. He will send for me from the hostel to come and speak with you. For me I trust you and I also enjoin you to trust me.The bank refused to give me this money because of my refugee status here in Senegal as the law of Senegal do not allow a refugee to per take in anything concerning money and I don't have any bank account where this money will be transferred that was why I contacted you because I do not permit to do that also the bank has advise me to nominate any foreign partner I trusted that is why I approach you in this regard.

Bryan Wesley - Victims Story of A Nigerian Scammer

Here is a story from a reader that she would like to share. Here is her email:

Hi, I wanted to share my story that I spent the last month of my life experiencing. On January 8th, I was browsing on a dating site that I had been a member of for almost three months and my subscription was about to expire. I had not been on the site in over a month because after the first couple of men that I met, I knew that this was NOT the place to meet that "special someone" in my life. However, I am not sure why I was on the site that day, but I was and it changed my LIFE forever.

I was browsing some of the pictures that were on the site and I came across the handsome young man in a picture with his daughter. I can not remember much about what his profile said, nor do I remember anything much about what he was looking for, I just saw that he was new to the site and he "claimed" to be from an area near my house. Since he was online that nite I decided to say hello and talk to him a little about my experiences as well as others experiences on the site. I really was not looking to become friends with him nor had no interest in meeting/dating him. We talked for a couple of hours the first night and he seemed to be a "nice" guy, after all he had a gorgeous daughter. The next several days into weeks, he and I chatted and emailed daily for the next three weeks. What started out as a simple, BEWARE OF THIS SITE, turned into my worst nightmare.

In the beginning, we talked about our lives and what we were looking for and how we both felt that God was always a guider in a "TRUE" love relationship. As emails would come daily and chats were long and sweet, if was very easy for me to start having feelings for someone that truly seemed genuine. When we talked about meeting, he told me that he was in Nigeria on a business trip and that he was going to return to the states in a short two weeks. What is two weeks to wait for a handsome, wonderful man and his daughter. Right?

I never even thought I could be part of a scam. Actually, I have heard of people being scammed but I never thought that this would turn out to be one until the begging for money became demanding for money. The first time that he ask me for money, was in that he needed "funds" for some food for him and his daughter. He wanted me to send him 150.00, not much right, hey I can do this. However, that week I only had like 200.00 in my account. I sent the "funds" and never heard not one single thank you or I got the money that you sent and I really appreciate it. I got NOTHING. That should have rang a bell if anything would. So, time went on and it was time for him to come home and we chatted about me picking him up at the airport and how we would spend our time together. However, when he got to the airport, he needed 1000.00 to help him pay for his ticket. Of coarse I was not going to send this guy 1000.00 because I did not have that kind of money. However, after many hours of begging, he got me to send 500.00. This should have been the second warning sign. Sending that amount really set me back in paying my bills and getting things that I had planned for the money. But it was well worth in becasue in 24 hours the man of my life would be home and we could begin our life together. Until, the next day and he did not show. What? You are where? And you didn't leave because? WOW, was I hurt. This brought on the next few days of a "lovers quarrell" about many different things and how I was so selfish and so self centered. Of coarse I cried and yes he apologized and made me feel good again and that he would be home when I could send him 1000.00. No, I can not and I will not, absolutely not. As he knew that payday week was approaching, he hung in there and I kept telling him that I had many expenses that I would have to pay and would not have the money left to send him 1000.00 like he needed. He told me that he would be home and that he would pay all of my expenses and that we were going to be together forever and I would never have to work again and we could travel and we could make love all nite and we could... well you know the story. On that Friday, I had NO intentions when I left work to send this man money. I had decided that if he wanted to come home to me that he would get home especially since he had 2,000,000.00 in a bank back here in the states. Then on my way home, I got a phone call from a guy that said he was Bryan's best friend and he wanted us to help him get home. He told me that I should not worry about my bills that I would get that as soon as he got to the states and that my future husband would soon be home and we could begin our life together. After talking to this "friend" for over an hour, my weakness broke and yes I went and sent the money, all 1500.00. My new life would begin in less that 24 hours. I would have a man that would be my future husband and a beautiful young girl that I could love and cherish forever. I cried all that night in utter excitement that soon, real soon that I would be at the airport and I would wrap my arms around my new stepdaughter and new husband to be. The next 24 hours was an extreme night mare. Reality finally hit me of what all my friends had been telling me. I was devastated, I was hurt, I was sick. I don't think that I even have enough words to express how I felt for the next day and a half until that phone rang. Yes it was HIM. Where was he? What happened? Why is he not here with me? And why are we not living happily ever after? Why am I so miserable?

The next few days Bryan and I spent, "making up" from our nightmare and we still love each other and we will still be together. We just have to get him home. You have to send 4000.00, no just send 2000.00, well I have 1500.00 just sent a 1000.00. NO, NO, NO and oh did I say NO. I do not have any money. None, zip, nothing. Fortunately, for me I was lucky and only lost like 2000.00 and it has set me back in paying my bills and put a little hurt in my life that I will probably never recover from. However, what I want many girls like me to know is, be AWARE. I am a seriously strong independent woman that gives a lot but NEVER would have dreamed that I would send my ENTIRE pay check to someone that I didn't know. After all, I was warned by so many of my friends that from now on I will trust with my life.

My boyfriend's name is Bryan Wesley and he has a 6 year old daughter. A very handsome man with a beautiful daughter. He has a friend name Phillip. Bryan's email is bryanwesley77@yahoo.com. As of today, (February9th) he is still using it and still on yahoo chat under that name. If I can STOP the next vulnerable woman from loosing her money and her heart, this letter was worth sending. I hope that someday, I can make an impact in the lives of women that ALMOST gave all they had to someone they NEVER met. Please, ladies read the stories and LISTEN to your friends.

Peter Ostachinni, John Stewart and George - Nigerian Scammer trio!

Here is an email from a reader who was targeted by three different scammers:

I have recently been scammed of money by the Nigerian scammers and I would like to share some information.

I believe I was targeted by the same scammer on three different profiles on match.com. ( I am in Malaysia but have used match when I lived in the US ). The first profile called George ( was a single dad with a 5 yr old daughter, but there were obvious mistakes in what he was saying, blonde blue eyed and he insisted his mum was singaporean chinese). 2nd was John Stewart who said he grew up between US and UK but when I spoke to him he was brazilian. So that got dropped when I asked him who he really is. The 3rd one was quite sophisticated, very detailed, intelligent, consistent and called Peter Ostachinni. All 3 were involved in oil and gas. It sounded plausible as malaysia is big into oil and gas. So this 3rd one called Peter started slowly, emailing quite normal emails, and then it got more elaborate. his profile said he is divorced with a 7 yr old son. His ex wife is dead ( all three of them has dead ex wives ), parents are dead, son in the UK, and he s British in oil and gas. Then he gave his phone number and I gave mine. Then he called, he was on his way to Australia for a conference and talked to me on the way to the airport. Timed it right of the distance between hotel and airport. Then time it right again between flight distance and timing between Malaysian and Melbourne. Then it graduated to phone calls and yahoo messenger. Chatted at night and he called in the mornings and this happened every day. Charming, said I was the love of his life, everything he ever dreamt of, his one and only. Even sent flowers to my house. Then by the 7th day of this, he begged me to check a link for him. His bank account in NatWest. And gave me his password and username. I clicked on it and told him what was there. He wanted to transfer GBP 1.5 million and asked me to do the transfer myself. I refused.

Then he was supposed to visit Malaysia at the end of the week. Even sent me a confirmation of the hotel that I picked. In the middle of the night about 2 days he was supposed to visit me, he called to say his son is really sick and he has to get back to the UK. Very smart, timed it the length of time of non stop flights between Melbourne to London, and then called to say he landed. Said he would call again when he reached Manchester ( he is supposedly from there) and he has a manor in Manchester. When he got there he arranged for me to talk to his 7 yr old. A young boy that has an english accent came onto the phone and spoke to me a few times. He continued his charming twice a day phone call and then if he had time "chatted" on yahoo messenger.... and here goes... then he has to go to Africa to interview workers for his new project. on his way back to Malaysia... When asked why he said Nigerian and cameroonian workers are the cheapest in oil and gas so he has to go to Nigeria. Called to say good bye... then I got a call in the middle of the night to say that he was boarding and he brought Ken with him to Nigeria. Said he would call when he landed. So he called again to say he landed and explained that he wanted to bring Ken to surprise me. Then he called a few hours later to say he got mugged as he got out of his taxi and everything was taken.... so he said he has to go get things sorted out . An hour later he called back sheepishly asking if I could help him ... by sending money... USD 5000.... I did... he still continued to call to thank for the money and provide progress information. But after I sent the money I talked to a friend of mine and she got concerned and researched and found out all about the Nigerian scam. I have ceased all communication as this scam is one that would go on and on to reel in more money for him. So I am 5000 less and wiser and feeling terrible but I want to share my story because I believe I was targeted and this scammer is highly sophisticated. He used several profiles to test me out and to see which work for me and also to see what my psychological profile is like . He still continues to call though I have ignored all phone calls ( how about all of 31 times in a span of 36 hours) and is very tasteful in not asking for account information and is able to create drama, credibility, trust, and prey very well.

Here is yet another unsolicited email from a Nigerian scammer saying I emailed them, which is nonsense and they liked my dating site profile, when none exists. Here is the scammers email:

I am more than happy when i saw your mail.How was your day?,Mine is a little bit warm over here in Dakar Senegal. My name is Miss Jena deerow from Somalia, ,5.7ft tall, dark in complexion,23 years old (never married before) and presently i am residing in the missionary camp here in Dakar as a result of the civil war that happen in my country then and still going on secretly.

My late father was the managing director of deerow industry (Ltd) and he was the personal adviser to the former head of state ( Abdullahi Yusuf Ahmed) before the rebels attacked our house one early morning and killed my father and other members of the family in cold blood.

It was only me that is alive, it is by the infinite mercy of God that made me to escape the tragic incidence because i know he hold my future. i am alive today is by the help of one army man who brought me to Senegal in west africa where i am leaving now.

I would like to know more about you.Your likes and dislikes, you know love, understanding and tolerance covers a lot of mistakes in a life of a couple that why i will love to know your hobbies and what you are doing presently.I will tell you more about myself in my next mail.

Hi I was on a dating sight and just by chance I said to this guy you should change your profile picture as the first one wasn’t as nice, this is how it all started. He was had me fall in love with him from the start. I have reported this to the sight as he had to pay by credit card but I know they will not give me this information. He said he was an "I work as an freelance auto technician,i do consulting,managerial,supervision and contract jobs for auto companies who requires my services,i am pretty much fulfilled in my job and i enjoy what i do. “


There are so many emails and messages to go through of the love he had for me and I saved him and I was his world, and I had fallen for it all... this is just some of it. What a night mare I am glad it’s over. I have lost my money but I still have my kids and health, it’s hard moving on but you know you just have to check it off as a hard lesson learned.

Reader Warns those of you in Colorado and Washington State!

A reader sent us this email to warn those of you in Colorado and Washington State:
My daughter (40) decided to try internet dating for the first time. She went on a well-respected site, posted a profile and was immediately contacted by what appeared to be a nice, responsible, all around good guy. He is foreign (German) and claims he has difficulty with English but trying to learn the language ( the reason I'm using present tense I will explain later). Recently divorced, three jobs, ranch in Colorado, loves horses (her line of work). Then he proceeded to tell her stories of heroic acts that he recently performed. "Saving a US Marine family lost in the wilderness inspite of falling with his horse, killing the horse and severely injuring himself. He still managed to drag himself and rescue the whole family", just one of many. Because of all his heroic actions, he was made an honorary US Marine. She bought all his stories, he had such an unpresumptuous way of telling them. War Hero, everybody loves him, etc. etc. etc. Within days he told her he loved her (even though they hadn't even met) and wanted to meet as soon as possible. One week later he showed up on her doorstep, using his advanced computer skills to get her address and phone #. For just a split second when she went to greet him the first timeshe describes a weird look in his eyes (she described it as insanity) then it was gone. He moved right in on her, convincing her he couldn't live without her now that he had found her. Slowly she began finding little inconsistencies in his stories, his behavior became abusive, especially if questioned about anything. He began showing cruelty to her pets, everything on the red flag list. He threatens suicide or threatens to kill her on a regular basis when she has tried to leave . He has ruined her business, ran off any friends (most are afraid of him). She is now in hiding, waiting for legal actions to be taken against him. Hopefully he will soon be deported so that she can once again walk in the daylight without fear that he will harm her or her loved ones. It will take years for her to repair the damage he accomplished in 8 short months. This story is current and as yet unfinished, he's still there in the shadows until he is caught and charged for his crimes. He is once again trawling the internet for another victim to "save" him. The purpose of this is to warn others out there to be very careful, there is a monster hiding behind the screen waiting for you to give him the opportunity to harm you. A general discription; frequents Military and Equestrian dating sights, German (not US citizen), heavy accent, poor english. Middle 40's, medium build, 5' 8"-6', reddish hair (always severe military cut), ruddy complexion, blue-grey eyes, wears glasses, tattoos, hangs out at Starbucks, chain smoke's little cigars, spends most of his time on computers (extremely skilled, tech savy,hacks for fun), like's anything military (very interested in guns), military imposter w/uniforms and war stories just one of several costumes, cowboy, Search & Rescue. Has victims in Colorado and Washington State.

Gary Moore - Nigerian Scammer

Here is an email sent in by a reader to warn all of you about a Nigerian scammer going by the name Gary Moore:
Hi!

I was once a victim of internet scam.

I recieved a message asking me to add him in FB last sept.2011. He claimed that my name pops up when he does searching. He claimed to be an American man from Long Beach , Ca., the photo used was of a man whom any woman will gonna fall for and that was happened to me. I was at my vulnerable moments when i saw his message. He even call me thru a US number (+13234120103), he is a good player...after 3 weeks he said he will be going to UK to do business. He claimed that he is an Engineer, a contractor for oilwell, head installation and repair, and claimed to be connected to exxon mobil. He even called when he is in UK(called me with this number: +447045720405), the business failed in Uk so he needs to go to Nigeria, because the products for oil matters are cheaper there......... so many lies which was played well in short he has been asking for help as his credit card not working in warri, delta state, then stolen, i was unsuspecting that he is a scammer because he sounds seems to be real, not only me but even my aunt was also scammed.. because we just want to help a person in need.. i started to noticed that something was wrong when he has been asking me money every 3 weeks, until the time when he said he needs to get back to US soon but he does not have ticket as he only bought one way, i shared the story to my aunt who is very kind, her heart went out with him and tried to wire 15oo USD thru Western Union and her SSN where asked , she gone through a lot of trouble, until an anonymous person from western Union with Nigerian accent called her that trnsfer was cancelled and she has to get back the money anytime no charge and was informed that we might be dealing with a scammer.. thats the start. He didn't recive the money, was so upset i referred him to US embassy in Abuja, He sounds real when he told me that they got him a ticket. sends me a copy as well, but on his transit in UK he was picked up due to tax matters. He has many mishaps, What a very unfortunate person , seems so real... that the time i started reading the advisory from US embassy, I even wrote to the US mission embassy in Abuja , there i realized that he is not real. I searched online according to the pages he wrote in his profile and i found him in one date using profile name luv3333. The photo he used is very attractive, so handsome but he is not real.... I thank your team for giving these info, though i was left with debt and broken heart, Im doing my best to move on, and share my story. I hope it could save others and make them aware that scammers are good players.

I recieved this email from a reader regarding a scammer named Christian (Chris) Adams. here is the email and details:

Hi, I have recently found your site & was blown away by the things men have said in their emails. Also the names they call you like queen & angel...this sounds so much like the man I have been chatting with online since 2nd July 2011.

He claims he was born in Deer Park Vic Australia, but lived most of his life in Rockhampton QLD Australia. Australian born Mother from Perth WA & father Italian, both deceased & has a son 21yrs old, but does not live with him, divorced. First he contacted me on Plenty Of Fish Australia & then moved quickly to Yahoo Mail then IM. (his profile was removed after he contacted me) He was on Facebook & has several photos, I have copies but the profile has been removed now. Claims he is in love & has a long story...he was hospitalized in California with Type 2 diabetes... but many complications. (By the way this has been going on for months) Being sick in different hospitals, had to have an operation and even though I was Never asked for money...the hints were there. Had a bad habit of disappearing for nearly 2 weeks at a time. Unreachable! Said he was unable to contact me because he was in the hospital & Lost his mobile somewhere & no money to call me.

He said that he was in California on business (was bidding on a contract for construction machinery) & had been living in the UK where he has a property up for sale! (cannot get the money for the sale of his property until March 2012) Gave me a phone number in California 001114158529860. I have only ever managed once to get through to him & he had a very strong accent...Not Italian. Then a man called dickson_idahosa@yahoo.com was trying to contact me on IM. I had blocked him as I did not know who he was. Then I got an email said he had been trying to contact me in regards to Chris. He was back in another hospital & if I knew any of his friends or relatives here in Australia...as he needed help to get back home and he had huge bills there in the states. Dickson had a sister Carmen Bodie & asked if I could send money in her name (Western union) I did send $200 STUPID ME...as I believed he was very ill.

Then nothing again for 13 days & I checked his facebook page & he had pics on there that he was in Kuala Lumpur. STORY IS: The USA Doctors would not treat him anymore because he owes money & cannot pay, So was taken by a Doctor Carroll Godemen back to Kuala Lumpur to his own hospital there, as he agreed to help him get back on his feet. (but he is holding his passport until all the bills are paid back in the states) So apparently he is living in the Drs private quarters. He is desperately trying to get back to Australia & needs help! I would like to know if others know of this man or recognize his photos?

Rose Dosi - Nigerian Scammer

Here is yet another email from an obvious Nigerian scammer that said she found me on a dating site online:

I am in sufferings and pains here in this camp, i really need help from someone by encouraging me and good advice in life and to help me to come out from this situation, again to help me get my money, because my late father deposited some amount of money for me in the Bank and he used my name as the next of kin.

My late father Dr. Ellison Dosi, worked as the Chief Executive Officer of (E E C PLC) in Port Sudan in Sudan. During the war, the rebel loyal to one of the greedy business associate of my late father attacked our house one early morning and killed my mother and father in a cold blood. I just received an email from a reader asking to share this information as she has been scammed recently for big bucks. If anyone has any more information about him, please email us. There was a language barrier and I could not get more information, but wanted to share what I got. Here is the email and the fake pics the scammer has been using:

Here is an email from Vivian Nelson, who wrote me out of the blue and thinks I am a male and an idiot. I also posted the stupid flowers that Nigerian scammers like to put in their emails. You see these on an email, they are a Nigerian scammer. Here is the email:

My names are Miss Vivian Nelson Age 24. ft 5/7. wt 65, i am the only daughter of ( Late Dr.Linus Nelson) from Ivory coast in West Africa sub region who died during a political conflict in my country in some years back. My father was the personal adviser to our former head of state. LATE GEN ROBERT GUEI. he was also chairman managing director ( ARUNA COCOA / DIAMONDS INDUSTRIES (PLC) in the capital of my country Abidjan, and he also exporting cocoa, diamonds, coppers, coffees, cobalt. Here is a letter from a reader who met a Nigerian scammer on Match.com. Here is the story and the scammer's info so you can all avoid him like the plague:

Here is how he started with me back on November 12 2011...He claimed to be an Architect living in San Francisco making a trip to work on a 5 Star Hotel In Benin. He said he couldnt get at his funds yet, and asked that I send him $200 Western Union to a man he said was a business partner named Henry Morgan in Nigeria.

He always had a reason that he couldnt fly back to San Francisco, and he always had some reason he needed me to send more money promising to pay me back more then I ever sent him.

Once this hotel remodel was finished he said he also had an import export business dealing oil, and he would have to stay over there even longer. Beggged me to send more money. He gave my cell number to another partner Greg Richardson. He was terribly rude and I would yell at him on the phone and get him all worked up. He ended up calling Michael and I both liars and stopped calling and texting me after I threatened to change my cell number. Just a team of horrible people working the Match dot com website.

I have phoned Match and sent complaints about this idiot.

He always sends sappy love letter emails. He like to send music videos of his favorite band Westlife, the song

Flying Without Wings, He is sometimes really hard to understand on the phone because of his thick accent which he claims is French, I bet it is Nigerian now that I know better. I told him he lacked verbal skills and not to call me because he is too hard to understand.
